Correction
In its report on the August 4 meeting of the county supervisors. the Rappahannock News reported the dog warden Jack Bruce suggested that the board consider discontinuing payments for livestock destroyed by stray dogs.
According to Bruce, he only informed the board that Culpeper and Fauquier Counties had stopped livestock payments made from the dog fund.
