“Pinafore”

Needs Piano

The Rappahannock County Library is sending out a call for actors and actresses who can carry a tune to try out for the library’s production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s witty Victorian masterpeice, “H-M-S. Pinafore.” on Monday, August 18. at 7 p.m. in the old theater on Gay Street.

In addition, carpenters willing to hammer a few nails as stage and scenery builders and painters who will wield their brushes on scenery are also needed.

Last but definitely not least, the behind-the curtain magicians, director Don Bomberger, voice coach Judy Bomberger and choreographer Lilo Foster, must have an upright piano before rehearsals get under way.

Anyone interested in taking part in the Pinafore production scheduled for performance the first weekend in October is invited to the auditions on Monday.
