Mrs. Earl Edmonds, Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mrs. Brown Miller entertained at a dinner party last Thursday at the home of Mrs. Edmonds near Huntly. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Lindsey, Carolyn and Mark of Middletown, Cassie Stallings of Manassas, Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Johnson, Mrs. T. M. Johnston, Frances Thornton and Mary Miller Wood.

Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather and Mrs. F. D. Coffey Jr. were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. Robert Nethers in Flint Hill.

Major and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer and children, Nicole, Heidi and Jonathan, arrived last Thursday from Germany to spend some time here.

Dr. and Mrs. James Thornton of Gate City were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher.
