Hunter
A graveside service for Louise Peyton Hunter, 72, was held at Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Amissville, at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. J. A. Holmes officiated.
Mrs. Hunter died Friday, June 26, 1981 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Rappahannock County. Mrs. Hunter was a member of Mt Olivet Baptist Church at White Shop.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hunter of Salem Nursing Home; two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Carpenter of Culpeper, Mrs. Naomi Hanes of Philadelphia, Pa.; one brother, Willie Beverly of Philadelphia; five grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
Lawrence
Graveside services for John Ross Lawrence of Amissville were conducted Friday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton by Elder E. S. Skeen.
Mr. Lawrence, 90, died on Wednesday, June 24,1981, at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. A native of Amissville, he was the son of the late John Mason Lawrence and Sarah Cordelia Priest. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Amissville Ruritan Gub.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beulah F. Lawrence and two stepchildren, Mrs. Catherine L. Gallery and William T. Pickett, both of Amissville.
