The town’s traditional historical pageant on the steps of the Rappahannock courthouse will start with the ringing of the church bells at noon. Costumed participants will be joined this year by the Rappahannock Country Dancers.
The annual book sale will be held at the Rappahannock County Library on Gay Street. Bake goods and organically grown vegetables will be available in the parking lot of the Medical Center. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department will have more baked and home canned goods for sale at the new town hall where the auxiliary’s thrift shop will be open throughout the day. The ladies are asking that donations for the bake sale be brought to the town hall on Saturday morning. In addition to baked goods, the ladies auxiliary will also offer hot dogs and sandwiches for lunch.
Trinity Church parking lot will again be the site of the Annual White Elephant Sale sponsored by the Churchwomen of Bromfield Parish. ammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhhm
