Dodson
A funeral for Barron Franklin Dodson of Washington, Va. was held on Wednesday at the Washington Cemetery. Mr. Dodson, 62, died on Sunday, June 28, 1981 at his residence. A native of Washington, he was the son of the late John Frank Dodson and Elizabeth Jenkins Dodson.
He is survived by one brother, Earl Wilson Dodson, of Washington, Va. Pallbearers were Jonas Jenkins, Jack Jenkins, Clarence Baldwin, Wayne Burke, Ray Burke and Bradley Dodson.

Lillie Pearl Dodson, 85, of Edinburg, died Sunday, June 28, 1981 in Shenandoah County Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service was conducted Tuesday at the Masonic Cemetery in Washington, Va. by the Rev. James D. Bailey.
Mrs. Dodson was born July 20, 1895 in Sperryville, a daughter of the late Dave W. and Lindsay Florence Brown Dodson. She was a member of the Baptist Church near Sperryville.
Surviving with her husband, John Walker Dodson, are one son, Calvin Dodson of Mt Jackson; one daughter, Minnie Florence Carroll of Jellico, Ky.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
