The Culpeper Harmonettes and the Slaughter Family will celebrate 'their anniversaries on Sunday, July 5, at the Shiloh Baptist Church in WoodviMe beginning at 2:30 • p.m.
The Harmonettes are celebrating five years and the Slaughters two years of performances. Directing the ceremonies will be Mrs. Shuran Greene and Kenneth White.
Also on the program will be Kelly Johnson and the Spiritual Kings of Washington, D.C., Fred Fox and the Middleburg Harmonizers, the Traveling Gospel Tears, the Inspirations and the Gospelettes of Culpeper.

“Sonrise,” a musical team from The King’s College, Briarcliff Manor, New York, will present a program at Hope Hill Baptist Church, Castleton, on Thursday and Friday, July 2 and 3, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Currently fulfilling an eight week tour of meetings, "Sonrise” is a selected group of students representing the college as they appear in churches, at rallies, camps and conferences in the eastern states this spring and summer.
