In making the announcement, W. M. Feltner, President and Chairman of the Board, stated the Company proposes to make the offer in order to reduce expenses incurred in servicing these accounts while providing eligible shareholders an opportunity to sell their shares at what the Company believes to be a fair price. The Company plans, in early June, to mail the offer to eligible shareholders setting forth the terms.
The offer will be limited to shareholders holding less than SO shares as of the close of business June 30, 1981.
