Cletus Burke of Front Royal was a luncheon guest Thursday of Mr. and, Mrs. Charles C. Burke. Their Saturday luncheon guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Burke, Jennifer and Mary Lynn of Alexandria. Visitors of the Burkes Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. John Metzger of Lorton and Mr. and Mrs. John Wayne Metzger and Dawn of Ruby. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Smith from Daytona, Fla. were Wednesday guests of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher.
Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank had John Eubank Jr. of Sperryville and Mrs. Louise Adkins as guests Sunday for lunch and their dinner guests were Mrs. Mary Smoot of Front Royal, Mrs. Herndon Hudson and Sandra Hudson.
Mrs. E. M. Jones accompanied by Mrs. Raymond Kite and children of Luray attended the Gravatt family reunion in Blackstone over the weekend. While there, they stayed with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Crowder Jr.
Robbie Tharpe of Nokesville is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pennington for a few days.

Photo Award
Lorrie Young, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Young of Castleton, received a check for $30 as the first place award in the Piedmont Board of Realtors’ photography contest. The prize was presented at the board's special dinner meeting held last Thursday in Culpeper.
Lorrie, a graduate of St Catherine’s School in Richmond, will be a freshman at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg this fall. She plans to major in fine arts as preparation for a career in photo-journalism.
