Rappahannock County has gained the volunteer services of six new Shock-Trauma Technicians. They are Doug McCabe, Sam Foreback and Sherry Hamill all of whom run with the Flint Hill Rescue Squad, and Bob Clack and Carl James from the Amissville department. Larry Geneback also from Amissville, but is currently running with Warrenton.

Closings
All state and Rappahannock County offices will be closed Friday, July 3, 1981 as the legal Independence Day holiday Business will resume on Monday morning, July 6.
Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill will also be closed Friday. Rappahannock National Bank in Washington will have Friday, July 3 as a legal holiday, but will have evening hours on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. for the convenience of the public.
The Rappahannock News and most county businesses will be Open as usual on Friday.
