Weakley
A funeral for Mrs. Mildred Weakley, 60, of Culpeper is set for today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. in the Gore Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John Farrar. She died Monday, June 29, 1981.
Mrs. Weakley was a native of Rappahannock County,
Pierce.
Survivors include her husband, William R. Weakley; a son, Charles E. Pullen Jr. of Culpeper; four grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ollie Settle of Orange, Mrs. Thelma Campbell and Mrs. Virgie Tharpe, both of Culpeper.
DAR June
Meeting
The Rappahannock Chapter Virginia DAR met June 13 at Mountain Run Lake in Culpeper. Mrs. Frank Duncan Chaplain opened the meeting with the Lord’s Prayer and a scripture reading. The special subject under discussion was “The American Indians”, by the following: Mrs. George Butler. Mrs. Helen Hawkins, Mrs. Carey Thornhill, Mrs. Walter Height, Mrs. Joseph Casey, Mrs. Charles Thprnhill, Mrs. Jesse Hawkins and Mrs. Duncan. The next meeting is scheduled for October 10 at the home of Mrs. Carey Thornhill.
