Rappahannock Vhi Staff ^ ritcr At last Wednesday's Washington Town Council meeting town council members voted unanimously to accept the budget drafted bv treasurer Brad Fisher. Mayor Newbill Miller told the Council that the yearly budget was a working document. “We must approve any expenditure, anyway." Miller said. "This is a plan, a working budget." The budget, itemized separately, called for $10,955 in income and $8,110 in expenses, with major income from bank stock tax, sales tax and revenue sharing. The biggest expense, the Washington Water Works, has a separate budget and was not included in the town budget approved at Wednesday's meeting.
