received a phone call from Flint Hill. Someone had seen a dog hit by an auto and left lying lifeless on the street. They stopped, picked the dog up, put it in their car and drove to the fire house. The collar gave our name and phone number.
The dog was Dinah. They phoned us and also tried to reach a vet. We drove down and brought Dinah home, not the homecoming we had wished for as we had to call in our vet who ended her suffering, giving her a well earned entrance into Doggie Heaven.
So ends our Dinah's hunt. She leaves us with happy memories along with tall tales of her abilities.
We wish to thank the kind people of the Flint Hill area. They were so helpful, also patient with us in our constant queries of news concerning our beagles. We are extremely grateful to the person who found Dinah, Ms. Sherry Hamill. She has show n she cares.
