funeral services for Mr. Hickerson's sister, Mrs. Eva Johnson in Front Royal. The Charles Hickersons visited Rail Jenkins, a patient at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville on Saturday.

Mrs. Elizabeth Tole of Suitland, Md. and Dr. John Tole of Natick, Mass, were overnight guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols and family.

The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary met at the fire hall Tuesday evening for their June meeting with eleven members present.

The Rev. Peter Weems is attending the annual conference of the United Methodist Churches at Virginia Beach this week.

Mrs. Freda Dimmette of Alexandria and Mrs. Ruth York of Rochester, N. Y. were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ivory Atkins. They also visited with Misses Elsie and Margaret Dodson.

Mrs. Wade Pullen was a Friday guest of her daughter, Mrs. Charlie Butler and family at Front Royal.

Bobby Welch of Richmond spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Welch. They attended funeral services Saturday for Mrs. Daniel Williams at Front Royal.

Among those from the area attending the County Home Demonstration club meeting at the Amissville Baptist Church last week were Flo Duvall, Alice Pullen, Russie Miller, Margaret Muter, Barbara Gentry, Mabel Pendleton, Sandra Jenkins, Margaret Dodson and Ellen Mustoe. The program was on salads.

The community picnic sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary was held Sunday and was well attended. The group presented Mrs. Pam Weems with a going away gift. Rev. Weems is pastor of the United Methodist Churches at Willis Chapel, Flint Hill and Sperryville and will be moving in June.

Miss Joyce Walker and Miss Tiny Brugh of Arlington spent Sunday with Miss Walker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker.

Mrs. Robert Nethers spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather in Sperryville. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers and Sissy of Stephens City accompanied her home Sunday.
