Pendelton
Mary Elizabeth Pendleton, 80, of Huntly, died Sunday, June 13, 1982, in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. at the TurnerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. James Price. Burial will be in Flint Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Pendleton was born January 15, 1902, in Huntly, a daughter of the late John F. and Mary Wood Flynn. She was the widow of the late Samuel C. Pendleton and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill. Survivors include three sons, the Rev. John R. Pendleton of Flint Hill, Robert Pendleton and Clarence Pendleton, both of Huntly; two daughters. Sarah Jordan of Huntly and Georgia Newman of Flint Hill; one brother, Albert Flynn of Boyce; two sisters, Georgia Jackson of Boyce and Mattie B. Baltimore of Chicago, 111.; eight grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
Stuart
William Millan Stuart, 79, of Washington and Beltsville, Md., died Monday, June 14, 1982, at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, D. C.
Stuart was a Rappahannock County native and the son of the late William Mason and Lucy Millan Stuart. He was a retired agronomist. He was a member.of the Old Guard, VP1 and the Trinity Episcopal Church.
Survivors include one son, John M. Stuart of Silver Spring, Md.; one daughter, Miss Mary Shirley Stuart of Rehrersburg, Pa. and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington. The Rev. Jennings Hobson will officiate. Burial will be in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
