WAS volunteers are available to provide: guidance to battered women seeking to identify their options, emergency shelter to women and their children and support through a group that meets weekly.
The support group is comprised of battered women, some of whom are still with their battering husbands or boyfriends, some of whom have decided to leave their batterers. The group meets every Monday night at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, in Culpeper, at 7:30 p.m.
