The shearing is part of the 4-H Livestock Club’s lamb project in which members buy lambs and raise them. The wool is put into a pool and sold with the profits returned to the club. This year, however, there is no wool pool because of low prices so the club has yet to decide what will be done with the fleece cut at lafet Monday’s shearing.
