Dodson
Mrs. Pearl Bertha Dodson, 62, of Brightwood died Monday, June 7, 1982, at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Thoroughfare Chapel by the Rev. George Johnson. Burial was in the church cemetery.
A Rappahannock native, her parents were the late Nathan and Josie Dodson Dodson. Mrs. Dodson was retired from the Wood berry Forest School and was a member of the Thoroughfare Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Epp Dodson of Brightwood; three daughters, Mrs. Rena Ferguson of Crozet, Mrs. Betha Jenkins of Culpeper and Mrs. Becky Dodson, of Brightwood; four sons, Roosevelt Dodson, Wilson Dodson and Ray Dodson, all of Culpeper and Richard Dodson of Brightwood; twenty-eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Anna Dodson of Brightwood, Mrs. Loney Strother and Mrs. Catherine Sloats, both of Front Royal and two brothers, Robert and Harold Dodson, also of Front Royal.
