Mattie Jenkins

Rappahannock Native Mrs. Mattie Ball Jenkins. 80. of Culpeper died on Thut .day, November 18, 1982, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of Noah and Ella Jenkins Fincham and the widow of Lindsay Powell Jenkins. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Culpeper. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Eva Kennedy and Miss Julia Jenkins, both of Culpeper, Mrs. Betty Payne of Mitchells and Mrs. Edna Vick of Fredericksburg; a son, John Thomas Jenkins of Rixeyville; 20 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by a son, Harold Jenkins and a daughter, Mrs. Susie E. Lam. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the GeestJohnson Funeral Home by the Rev. Edward Hawkins. Burial was in Etlan Cemetery.
