Along with Christmas and a few other recognizable dates, the month of December has officially been recognized by Governor Robb as “Virginia Reading Month.” Librarians have a tendency to think every month should be a “reading month.”
Rappahannock County has been blessed with Virginians who write as well as read. The library has received gifts of recently published books from three local authors. We are so enthusiastic we are having a special display of the books written by Rappahannockians.
Gene McCarthy’s Minnesota is a mixture of poetry and prose. From rural Minnesota to rural Rappahannock is only one giant step.
