Sam Snead brought his plans for a licensed adult home to the planning commission last Wednesday to “check the climate" and get a reaction on "where we should be going and what we should be doing.”
The county's Board of Zoning Appeals has already issued a special use permit for the 120-bed facility proposed to be built at the old Rappahannock ski area in Harris Hollow. “I’m coming before you a little premature,” Snead told the planning commissioners who will eventually be asked for site plan approval. “We just want to get our feet wet.”
