PEC intends to use the new Babcock funding for additional technical assistance and to increase its educational efforts outside its service area. “Even with this generous grant we cannot hope to match the resources of the mining company,” noted Robert T. Dennis, PEC President, “but—especially if we get additional local support—we can be sure that the people who have a stake in the resolution of this issue have complete and reliable information on it.”
