George Hackley

George Wallace Hackley, 84, of Amissville died on Tuesday, November 30, 1982, at a Woodstock nursing home.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late James Jackson and Nora Alice Priest Hackley. His wife was the late Bertha Lee Weaver Hackley. He was a farmer and a member of Amissville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alice H. Hitt of Amissville; three sons, George Russell Hackley, Edward Roger Hackley and James Louis Hackley, all of Amissville; four grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren and a brother, John J. Hackley of Amissville.
Funeral services were held on Friday at Amissville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Joseph Stirman Jr. and Rev. Steve Parker. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Hitt, Frank Fishback, James S. Woodard Jr., Everett Smith, Charles Hackley and E. Arley Estes. Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.

Infant Boy Dodson of Culpeper died Tuesday, November 30, 1982, at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
He is survived by his parents, Jacob and Judy Lothell Pullen Dodson; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Pullen of Rixeyville and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Dodson of Culpeper.
Graveside services were held on Friday at Washington Masonic Cemetery by the Rev. David Lavery.
Gore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.
