The Rappahannock Electric Cooperative in Bowling Green has been awarded a loan of $8,957,000 by the Rural Electrification Administration in Washington for various system improvements, according to Seventh District Congressman J. Kenneth Robinson. The federal loan at 5 percent interest will help to finance service for 2,546 consumers, build 1% miles ol distribution :ne and improve substation facilities.
