Carols And Anthems
The Choral Society of Culpeper will present its loth annual Christmas Concert at the Culpeper Baptist Church. 818 S. West St., on Thursday. December 9. at 8 p.m.
Conductor Lois Shanks has selected beloved carols and anthems of ten composers for the 82voice chorus and soloists to perform. The concert is free and open to the public. Community Dinner
The Chester Gap Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor a community Christmas dinner on Sunday. December 12. at 2 p.m. at the fire hall.
Santa will be present and those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.
Homemakers To Meet
The Washington Extension Homemakers will meet at Mary Bain's home on Thursday. December 16 at 12 noon. Bring your favorite salad dish for the covered dish luncheon. Also, bring a gift to exchange. For directions, call Mai v Bain at 687-86.86.
Christmas Party
The annual Flint Hill community Christmas party and covered dish dinner will be held on Sunday, December 12. at 5 p.m. at the fire hall. The event is sponsored by the Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary.
Santa will be present to entertain the children and the community is urged to attend.

The Rappahannock - Fauquier chapter of the Compassionate Friends will meet on December 14 at i :80 at St. James Episcopal Church on Culpeper St. in Warrenton. 1 his new ly-formed group is composed of parents who have lost a child.
