Maurice Newton Rowzie, 76. of Florida, died Monday. November 29, 1982, in Fort Myers, FTa. Graveside services were held Thursday, December 2, at Amissville Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. Rowzie was born and reared in Amissville, the son of the late J. Maurice and Ada H. Rowzie. Fie was a life long member of the Amissville Baptist Church.
For many years Mr. Rowzie was employed by the Southern Railway in Washington, D. C. After retirement he lived in Vienna, later moving to Florida.
He is survived by three nieces, Sandra R. Willis of Marshall. Carol R. Whitmore of Statesville, N. C. and Linda R. Hann of Catonsville, Md. and one grand nephew, Mark Rowzie Willis of Marshall.

Mrs. Ruby Rachel Grimsley. 71, of Culpeper, died on Wednesday, December 1, 1982, at Culpeper Health Care Center.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late John and Texanna Woodard Jenkins. She was a member of Culpeper Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William P. Grimsley of Culpeper; three sons, Maury J. Leake of Hartwood, John P. Leake of Culpeper and Charles W. Leake of Ventura, Calif, and five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Margie Stringfellow and Mrs. Helen J. Kelley, both of Culpeper, Mrs. Gussie Mae Tomczak of Rixeyville, Mrs. Alice Gilliam of Lawton, Okla. and Mrs. Shirley Ann VanAUen of Florida.
Also surviving are three brothers, Wilson Jenkins and Thomas Jenkins, both of Hartwood and Elliott Jenkins of Front Royal; 16 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
