Fisher told the council that 75 percent of town water users consume less than 100 gallons a day. “This compares to the average national daily water use of 125 gallons per person,” he said.

Another revenue source suggested by Dorothy Hawkins was setting a fee for the regular town trash pickups each month. Taylor Updike was concerned that

this f^^would affect only those who used the trash pickup at their home and not those who used the barrells around town. The pickup is made each third Saturday of the month by town employee John Norman and is presently offered without charge.

No action was taken on any of the suggestions.
