Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison was a Tuesday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and left from Dulles Airport on Wednesday to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Payne and daughters in California before leaving for a trip to Australia.
Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Brown Miller and Mrs. Mary Quaintance were dinner and bridge guests last Wednesday evening of Mrs. Earl Edmonds in Huntly.
Mrs. Holly Leake Rooney of Savage, Md. spent last week dividing the time with her brothers, Roy and “Buster” Leake, Mrs. Tom Leake, Mrs. Lillie Corbin and Mrs. Delia Leake. Mrs. Roy Leake is a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital.
