Colder temperatures during the weekend sure kept folks confined to their homes, however, we always have some regular contributors to which we are indeed grateful.

Mrs. J. W. Hawkins, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan, Mrs. George Butler and Mrs. C. G. Thornhill, all of Boston were Tuesday luncheon guests of J. Stant Weaver. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda of Culpeper visited Mr. Weaver on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Burke of Front Royal and Mrs. Charles C. Burke spent Thursday with Mrs. Arthur Vaughan in Fredericksburg.

Tom Perry returned home last Wednesday after spending eight days in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, where he was being treated for pneumonia.

Mrs. Mary G. Edmonds of Huntly, Mrs. Frances Lyne, Miss Mary Miller Wood and Mrs. E. M. Jones attended the memorial and ^dedication service for Quincy Damon Gasque at the Warren County High School auditorium on Sunday. Mr. Gasque was a former superintendent of schools in Rappahannock and Warren counties.

Steve Ralls celebrated his seventh birthday on Monday and was given a dinner on Sunday by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ike Ralls. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ike Linwood Ralls and Melinda of Sperryville, Glenn Tharpe of Castleton, Tammy and Roger Huff and Mr. and 'Mrs. John Clark Jr., Stacey and Amanda.

Robbie Tharpe of Nokesville spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pennington.

Mrs. Leonard Campbell returned home on Wednesday after being a patient in Prince William Hospital, Manassas. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lockheart of Front Royal were Thursday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jenkins attended the David and Debbie Wolfford wedding held Saturday in Culpeper. A reception followed at the American Legion Hall.
