Cancer Society Meets The executive committee of the Rappahannock unit of the American Cancer Society will meet Tuesday, January 25. at 3 p.m. in the Washington Baptist Church. All members of the committee are requested to attend this important session.
RAAC Board Meeting The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community will have a board meeting on Jam 23 at 4:30 at the court house in Washington. All members are invited.
Historical Meeting The quarterly meeting of the Rappahannock Historical Society, scheduled for Friday, February 4th has been cancelled and will be held on Friday, March 4 instead. It is hoped that more clement weather at that time will make the meeting possible in the society’s building. Homemakers Learn Macrame The Washington Extension Homemakers will meet on Thursday, January 27, at 1 p.m. at Lucille Price’s residence. Instruction will be given in tying macrame knots for hanging baskets. For information or directions, call 675-3619 or 675-3427. Visitors are always welcome.
County Association Meets The monthly meeting of the Rappahannctck Fire and Rescue Association will be Friday evening, January 21, at 7 p.m. in the Washington firehouse.
