“It’s because they won’t make a special trip,” Dorothy Hawkins said. “When 1 call over there, the lady says that they’ll fix them when they’re over here next.”
“But when you see them in town, they say they can’t replace the lights unless told to do so by the office,” Miller said. “It’s the sort of situation where you just can’t win.”
Dorothy Hawkins suggested that the town deduct a proportionate amount from the monthly bill for lights that were out and not fixed.
No action was taken on the light problem at Wednesday’s meeting.
