In disposing of the confiscated liquor, Judge John Alexander ordered the destruction of two fifths of opened Canadian Mist and the return to the state of 39 gallons of whiskey, 4 gallons of wine and 38 gallons of beer.
“My goodness, Mr. Dodson,” said Judge John Alexander. “You had a better inventory than an ABC store.”
“May I point out, your honor,” responded Bill Fletcher, Dodson’s attorney, “that Rappahannock doesn’t have an ABC store.”
