Zoning Administrator David Konick reported at the supervisors’ March 7 meeting that the planning commissioners wanted the provision allowing the BZA to decrease the setback distance deleted. The planners do not believe that the distance from a shooting range to an adjoining property line should ever be less than 500 feet under any conditions, Konick said.
