Mrs. Katharine Wells and Ms. Martha Stratton, both from Kansas City arrived on Saturday, March 5, to be houseguests of Mrs. Wells’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Crews. On Sunday they were joined by other family members and relatives for dinner. The ladies left for their home this past Tuesday.
Today is St. Patrick’s Day and lots of folks will think about an Irish dinner this evening. To most of us, this means corned beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes, Irish stew and soda bread.
