Keep going to the well” was the advice resident engineer Don Askew gave the Rappahannock supervisors regarding their support of the long-delayed project for four-laning route 211 from Washington to Sperryville.
At the March 7 session of the county board, Askew suggested that the supervisors send a representative to the upcoming district hearing on distribution of interstate, primary and urban road construction funds for the 1983-84 fiscal year. The meeting is set for 9 a.m. on March 30 at the Highway Department’s offices in Culpeper.
