Boosters To Meet
On Monday, March 21, at 8 p.m. the Rappahannock County High Boosters will hold its first meeting of 1983. Plans will be discussed for the upcoming talent show, Mr. Robert Estabrook, school superintendent, will attend to discuss the school budget process and to answer questions. All concerned parents and others are invited.
NAACP Branch Meeting
The Rappahannock NAACP Branch will meet Friday evening, March 25, at 7:45 at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.
Cancer Exams Scheduled
A skin and oral cancer clinic will be held Saturday, March 19 at the elementary school. Adults wishing to be examined may come on a first come, first served basis to the school between 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon.
Drs. C. Stuart Buchanan and H. Brian Landes, Winchester Dermatologists, will conduct the skin cancer examinations and Drs. Hughes, Mayberry and Cevera will perform the dental exams.
Skin and oral cancers are those most successfully treated if detected early enough. There is no charge for this service.
