Bland Contest
The Rappahannock County Lions Club will sponsor the bland Contest on Saturday, March 26, at 11:00 A.M.
This contest consists of two categories; vocal and instrumental, and provides an opportunity for local musicians and singers to compete for a $25 savings bond first prize and $10 cash prize in each category.
The contest will take place at the library of the Rappahannock County Elementary School. Those interested in entertaining the contest should contact John Toth at RCHS, Gloria Harris at Wakefield and Maggie Piper at the elementary school.
Winners in this local contest will compete in the regional contest in Fauquier County on Thursday night, March 31.
