$42,176 amount over the original appropriation for the bus shop/school board office building would be available from funds left over from this year’s budget or whether they needed to specifically request the money from the supervisors.
The board members agreed to request it immediately, with the clear understanding that they would absorb the cost with leftover operating funds if at all possible.

Budget Work Session
The board began its work session on the 1983-84 proposed operating budget. The superintendent explained that, after computing revenue estimates, he found that the county’s share of the proposed school operating budget would be $1,160,299, $81,443 over last year’s local allocation of $1,078,856.
