Reynolds MIKE LEAKE, mainstay of the Panther Basketball team in their winning season, responds to calls of “speech, speech” at last week’s awards assembly by directing some remarks to the eighth graders in the bleachers. Mike was awarded an enscribed basketball which will be on display in the trophy case at the high school. Mike, whose award was greeted by a standing ovation from his schoolmates, scored 1,238 points during the last Panthers’ season which brought them the district championship.
