The people’s park needs those volunteers this Saturday for a cleanup project to prepare the grounds for the official ribbon cutting ceremony next weekend.
There will be refreshments and good company supplied. All that’s needed are willing hands carrying clippers and trash bags and willing backs to push lawn mowers.
We urge ALL the folks, young and old, teenagers and adults, who enjoy the park facilities throughout the year to give a few hours of their time this Saturday, April 23, beginning at 10 a.m. It’s another chance to show that we have a real people’s park.
