Ribbon Cutting at Park

Ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of the Rappahannock County Park will take place on Sunday, May 1, at 2 p.rn.

Tennis and basketball exhibits are planned and free refreshments will be served. The public is invited.

Sting At Theater

The Sting, original Academy Award dramatic comedy with Radford and Newman, will be shown this weekend at the Gay Street Theater by the RAAC film club. The movie starts Saturday at 8:00 and Sunday at 7:00.

Redskin Kicker Is Guest

Mark Mosely of the world champion Washington Redskins will be the guest of honor from 11 a.m. to noon at Linton Hall School’s spring carnival and cross-country race, Sunday, May 1.

The carnival will run from noon until 8:30 p.m. with games, food and a variety of boothes and fun for all ages.

Runners can choose between the five kilometer Great Ghost Chase and the ten kilometer cross country run. Both are oj>en to individuals and teams with registration $6 before May 1 and $8 the day of the carnival.
