Academic Honors
Vincent Day of Woodville has been awarded the Hamsberger Field Geology Scholarship at James Madison University.
The scholarship is a cash award to be used to partially defray tuition and expenses in the geology field course. At Honors Day ceremonies held April 7, Day’s academic record and demonstrated enthusiasm for geology were cited as evidence that he has “a high potential to be an outstanding professional geologist.”
