GenenLeggett, president of the first Washington Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad, requested $200 from the town for the Emergency Medical Services Council. Pointing out that this was the first time the town had been asked to support EMS council, Leggett explained that the amount w as necessary to fill in for lost funding. The council agreed to his request.
