Following the ceremony a reception was held at the old Washington Elementary School. The wedding cake was served by Mrs. Janet Clatterbuck of Washington, sister of the groom. Mrs. Louise Clatterbuck of Front Royal served the punch and Mrs. Mary Gochenour of Front Royal attended the guest book.
The bride is a 1981 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and is employed at Aileen, Inc., in Flint Hill. The groom is a 1977 graudate of Rappahannock County High School and is employed by Wayland Ford Tractors in Warrenton.
Mr. and Mrs. Burke are residing in Washington.
