Slow Pitch Tourney Scheduled
The Taylor Junior High School Booster Club in Warrenton is sponsoring an ASA-sanctioned men’s slow pitch softball tournament May 14-15 with entry deadline May 1.
Teams will be guaranteed four games with two teams from each bracket advancing to Sunday’s double-elimination finals. Trophies will be awarded to bracket qualifiers, championship finalists and individual championship team members.

Benefit Dance
The Rappahannock County Royal Order of Moose bodge 439 will host a dance at the Washington fire hall on Saturday, April 30, from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.
Admission to the bring-your-own-refreshments affair will be $10 per couple. Music will be provided by the Three Wheel Drive Band. Proceeds will benefit the Washington Volunteer Fire Department's building fund.
