Miss Trina Desiree Beumer and Paul Dirk deBruijn were married Saturday, May 28, 1983, at 2 o’clock at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Manassas.
The Rev. Willie Heflin performed the double ring ceremony. Traditional wedding music was provided by Mrs. Norman Dollar. Church decorations included lighted candelabras with red and white rose bouquets with trailing ivy and satin bows.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beumer of Manassas. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Cornelis deBruijn, also of Manassas.
Escorted to the altar by her fauther and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a traditional gown of sheer polyester over taffeta with point d’esprit sleeves and a lace bodice with a ruffled yoke. There were embroidered appliques at the neckline and on the sleeves. Her Mantilla fingertip veil was attached to an embroidered appliqued cap. Her jew'elry was a pearl teardrop on a gold chain, worn by her mother on her wedding day.
