1. Control weeds Weeds on set aside land must be clipped, sprayed or plowed under. The County Committee is especially concerned about thistles and perennial weeds going to seed. Early clipping may be necessary especially on land with no till residue (corn stalks) as cover. The ASCS office will begin spot checking soon.
2. No grazing is permitted until October 1st.
3. No mechanical harvesting is permitted any time.
4. Set aside land may be worked and planted to a crop for harvest in 1984.
