Mrs. Emma Katherine “Kate” Stoneberger Gordon, 82, of White Post, Clarke County, died Saturday, August 5, 1983, at her residence.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Enders Funeral Home in Berryville by the Rev. Mary Brisco. Burial was in the Refuge Church Cemetery near Stephens City.
Mrs. Gordon was the aunt of Clarence and Charley Baldwin, both of Washington. She was bom November 13, 1900, at Rileyville, Page County, daughter of the late James and Bertie Devers Stoneberger. She was the wife of the late Noah Lee Gordon and a member of the White Post United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gordon was a sister of the late Lizzie Baldwin of Washington.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Reeve of ' Belview, Florida; one son, John F. Gordon of White Post; a sister, Myrtle Molden Lofton of Stephens City and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Reeve, Virgil Presgraves, James, Toby, Don and Noah Gordon.
