New Year’s Eve Service
At Amissville Methodist A New Year’s Eve service and covered dish dinner will be held at the Amissville United Methodist Church beginning at 7:30 p.m. on December 31. A film entitled “Super Christian” will be shown at 3:30 p.m. There will be singing, sharing, another film, devotion and communion at 12 midnight. “Come and join us in this time of fellowship,” said a church spokesperson.

At Hope Hill Baptist A New Year’s Eve service will be held at Hope Hill Baptist Church at Castleton on December 31, beginning at 8 p.m. There will be a showing of home movies of the church as well as a special film entitled “Home Run For Rusty.” There will be fun, games and refreshments followed by a candlelight service.
