The company reported “small problems here and there, scattered outages, no major problems. “A circuit serving the Lake of the Woods area blew,” according to a company spokesman, but Rappahannock customers were not affected. However, the station serving Rappahannock experienced a new peak this year. The cold weather created a much higher demand for electricity compared to last year when Christmas was “balmy", the spokesman said.
